Unity

Victory Baptist Church goes to great lenghts to stay a unified body of believers.  Because people have value, because we are the Body of Christ, because God has forgiven our sins and has placed His wonderful love in our hearts - how could we be anything but unified? 

Yes, it is true, passion can breed hard feelings.  And it is true, no matter how hard you try, there will eventually be strife.  But when you are committed to unity, then you can work it out.  As the Bible guides us in Truth and love, we solve issues using the standard of reconcilliation that Jesus gave us, and we do so with great care and gentleness with the sole purpose of restoration between God and Man, and Man and Man (or woman - whatever the case may be). 

Believing that God brings us together takes a great deal of pressure off of us.  Since we are His Body, when we let the Head (Jesus) be our Lord, then we call all work together to accomplish His desires.  May it always be so!
